Bridge over Troubled Water and Road

The transcon which runs through some remote areas stay high and dry while this road with a creek running right beside it surely floods out many times a year. The bridge structures themselves tell a story. You can see everytime the bridge of the abutments have been worked on. No doubt they take a pounding. You can almost imagine the words Santa Fe painted on the side.
